full story Welcome New Board Members 6/26 -- Leadership Lorain County has named four new people to our Board of Directors: Maria Zolli '98, Joni Marra '08, Steve Hosler '99, and Randy Fortin. We also congratulate officers for the coming year; Dr. Karen Wells '03, Chair; Dr. Cathy Pugh '07, Vice Chair; Annie Heidersbach '01, Secretary; and Lynn Koster '05, Treasurer. Thank you to Terry Goode '04, our outgoing Chair; Pat Lawson '04, Marketing Chair; Rocky Campana '03; and Lee Kolczun '87, former Chair, who have fulfilled their terms and leave a legacy of admirable service to our board. Thank you to all of these people and our entire board for the work they do for Leadership Lorain County. Close the Gap 6/24 -- 37 boys from the Lorain Schools are part of a summer program that brings them in contact with Leadership Lorain County on Fridays. The YES! program (Youth Embracing Success) exposes these boys to leaders and businesses in Lorain County that can help them to make graduating from High School an important first step in their goals for the future. The students have had the opportunity to network with alumni who share their personal stories and advice.
