Nominations Begin For Women of Compassion

4/13 -- The Community Foundation of Lorain County and Lorain County Community College have joined forces once again to create an event that will celebrate local women. The fifth annual Women of Compassion event will take place on October 11, 2012, where 5 women will be honored for their work in the community. Nominations are currently being accepted for the Women of Compassion Awards.

Leadership Ohio Hosts Annual Community Leadership Reception

4/11 -- Leadership Ohio will be in Oberlin this Friday, April 13th, to host a welcome for the Leadership Ohio Class of 2012 at a Community Leadership Reception called "A Taste of the International Festival" at Ade's Place at 16 S. Main Street in Oberlin from 5:30pm-8:00pm. Come join Leadership Ohio for some great ethnic food, dance and music and get to know the new class. Suggested Donation is $20.
