The Friendship Animal Protecitve League Mission Statement is: "To rescue abused and neglected animals, offer temporary shelter to homeless pets in need, promote compassionate and responsible pet ownership, find loving homes for homeless pets and assist in reducing animal populations.

Board candidates that have solid relationships with the business and public sectors of Northeast Ohio.
Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.

Candidates for our various committees:
Fundraising - Marketing and public relations experience preferred.
Program Development - experience with volunteers and non-profit development a must.
Finance - Budget Development Experience a plus.
Shelter Operations - Human Resources, Building Maitenance, Management and Leadership.

The FAPL has been in existence since 1957. In 2008, over 1,000 cats and dogs found new homes. FAPL is donation driven non-profit dedicated to the humane treatment of Lorain County's orphaned companion animals.

The FAPL has been in existence since 1957 and is a "no-kill shelter". In 2006, over 1,000 cats and dogs found new homes. FAPL is not federally funded.
