Leadership Lorain County Looking to Fill Paid Summer Internships

Planning has begun for the summer Leadership Lorain County Internship Program (LLCIP) 2010. Some of the agencies who will be interviewing and placing the summer interns are:

• Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services
• Elyria City Health Department
• American Red Cross
• Big Brothers Big Sisters
• Oberlin Heritage Center
• OSU Extension
• Visit Lorain County
• Common Ground
• Save Our Children of Elyria
• Neighborhood House Association

Please pass the word on to students who are in your family or to students who are your friends that LLC is still open for student applications until February 5th 2010.

LLC's Informational Meeting is being held on Monday December 28, 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the LLC offices This meeting will allow students to learn more about the nonprofit programs and intern job descriptions they are making available. In addition, they will have the opportunity to meet other students who are interested in taking advantage of this great learning opportunity. Students from 2009 will also be present to answer questions about the summer program.
