Social Justice Day for the Class of 2010
The great Class of 2010 spent their session day in December learning about Poverty in Lorain County. Thanks to the assistance of many of our alumni, they were able to participate in a poverty simulation that really demonstrated the difficulty of this life situation that so many people are dealing with in our community. Following the simulation, class members visited numerous social service agencies that are so important to Lorain County. They ended their day by serving food at the Catholic Charities 8th Street location. All would agree that this day made us all grateful for what we have and very willing to get involved in helping others who are less fortunate.
