Leadership Ohio Experiences Poverty Simulation

Kathy Rednour (Best Class 2002) and Executive Director of Leadership Ohio lead the group in a debriefing session discussing with the members how it felt to do the Simulation.

Leadership Ohio presented LLC’s Poverty Simulation at their final class weekend on Friday, November 13th in Cleveland. There were 18 Leadership Ohio Class Members who attended the Poverty Simulation as part of their last weekend class that culminated on Saturday evening with a graduation ceremony and celebration.

Assisting with the simulation were 18 volunteers. Robert Wenz (Class of 2010) participated as one of those volunteer participants as a Banker of “U-Trust-Us National Bank”. Robert is a member of the 2010 Design Team this year who will present the Simulation to his class in December and thought this was a good way to get prepared for that day.
