WOW! What a Party!

Lisa & John Piwinski'02, donated their winnings from the 50/50 raffle

The party of the summer was held last Saturday at the Lorain County Regional Airport at Hanger B—the home-away-from home of Herb de la Porte’08. Over 120 LLC alumni, family and friends turned out to enjoy and play at the Party with a Purpose hosted by Harry Pepper ’08 and Herb. Pilots Scott Isaacs ’09 and Herb de la Porte took people up for a beautiful ride around Lorain County and over the lake. Segways, antique cars, unique bicycles, and army side-cars were all enjoyed by the guests. Later in the evening, the “dance floor” was filled to capacity with people moving to the music by “The Chosen Few.”

The evening was capped off with the drawing of the lucky ticket for the 50/50 raffle. Over $400 was collected, and the winners of the raffle, Lisa and John Piwinski ’02, promptly donated their share of the prize back to LLC. THANK YOU John and Lisa!
