Many Winners in LLC Golf Outing

On August 14, 108 golfers, a record number, descended upon Grey Hawke Golf Club to compete in the 8th annual Leadership Lorain County golf outing. Chaired by Steve Hosler ‘99 and Gary Thome ‘98, the outing was a resounding success with many winners.
First place honors went to the EMH Regional Medical Center team (Brian Hoagland, Jeff Brausch, Jonathan Beckett, and Dr. Hari Dachi).
Long driver winners were Lesley Nicholas, James Englehardt, Jeanne Firment, and Dan Urban.
Closest to the pin winners were Nicole Springer ‘03, Brian Hoagland, Lesley Nicholas, and Phil Baptiste ‘00.
The team from Jack Matia (Jack Matia, Jerry Draga, Jeff Schmittgen, and Chuck Draga) went home much richer after taking home the only skins winning of $420 with an eagle on hole 10.
Many companies and individuals contributed to the success of this fund raiser for Leadership Lorain County from corporate sponsors to individual golfers. Leadership Lorain County also wishes to thank Gary and Steve, along with their committee, as without their dedication, there would be no LLC golf outing.
