Summer Networking Social Huge Success

Over 75 LLC alumni, friends and members of the new class of 2010 gathered at Matus Winery on July 23 for a night of wine and conversation.

The night began with speeches from board members Randy Fortin and Nouie Nodal, Class of 2008, who thanked everyone for coming, explained the 2009-2010 Membership Campaign and announced some of the dates for the upcoming 25th Anniversary events.

Not only was the social a kickoff for the Membership Campaign, it also served as an opportunity for alumni to meet members from the 2010 Leadership Class. "It was wonderful to meet some of the Class of 2010 and it seems that there are some incredible personalities which will only heighten the excitement for the 25th year anniversary. I feel that this class knows the importance of this year and will live up to the every expectation,” said Tim Howard, Class of 2006.

Whether it was networking, wine tasting or simply enjoying an evening outside of the office with friends, participants were sure to have a good time. “The wine tasting at Matus was a fantastic event that pleasantly replaced the stress from the day…the only part that may have been better than the wine, especially the cabernet, was the people,” said James Maiorana, Class of 2010.

The evening also included two raffles for a chance to win a basket of wine. Winners of the baskets were Mark Betleski, Class of 1993, and Suzanne Betleski.
