The CHAMPIONS PROGRAM was launched several years ago as an initiative to provide an opportunity to introduce Leadership Lorain County (LLC) and its offerings to the corporate community. Our programs cultivate a diverse network of individuals who envision what Lorain County and the region can be, empower themselves and others to make a difference and engage in realizing the vision by volunteering, by accepting the challenges of leadership positions, and by motivating others to join. Our alumni lead with passion, building relationships and acting on opportunities. Their influence continues to have impact on the region, their professional life, and their personal lives.

Today, LLC corporate supporters believe that this program ensures the vitality and quality of leaders and emerging leaders. It is an investment in the future of Lorain County, their own corporation, and the very fiber of the community, supporting its infrastructure by producing empowered, energized, and engaged volunteers and leaders who accept the challenges of today’s economic and social environments.

Our program warranted refreshing in light of the opportunities currently present to support LLC. We’ve listened to your wishes and needs. And what you’ve told us is that you would like to see a menu of opportunities for support that would be easy and allow you to support Leadership Lorain County in a variety of ways and from marketing, staff development and/or charitable contributions budgets.

Our new CHAMPIONS PROGRAM takes into consideration all that you do and applied it to different levels of participation. Each level has a set of benefits that apply to that category. Items identified in each category do not preclude a Champion to purchase a higher priced table or provide a larger donation, it is the minimum amount to be a member of that star category.

This year, all CHAMPIONS will be invited to attend a private gathering to meet Josue Robles Jr., President and CEO of USAA, a Fortune 500 company that serves members of the military and a retired Major General of the US Army. This VIP reception will be for Champions by invitation only. Gen. Robles will be speaking at a special business-focused luncheon on March 5 at the Spitzer Conference Center for the benefit of Leadership Lorain County.

Because of the economy, LLC will provide the benefits stated with a signed agreement and pre-arranged payment schedules, if necessary. Dollars raised through the Champions initiative will be used to support operations, programs, and may be placed in endowment.
